I'm with you there Gordon.
Have you read a little book called "The Specialist" by Charles Sale?? Its all about a man who specialises in building these. He's even built family versions ( two and three holers.) |

When I was about four, I used to visit my grandmother who lived in Suffolk.
She had one of these at the bottom of the garden, though I must say it was in better conidtion than the one in your picture Gordon :D It had two holes in, one for adults and one for children. Oh and I almost forgot, the newspaper hung on a piece of string!!! |
