We all hate rules, but a board can't function properly without them, and we don't have many, but please stick to the ones we have at present.
New Members are asked to make at least 3 posts in their first month of joining the board. The first post should be made on the day of registration. *As the board is now closed to new sign-ups (apart from member introductions) current members are requested to make at least one new post each week unless they have made a previous arrangement with the admin team. Please keep "bad" language to a minimum. Please don't make personal attacks on someone's religion, creed or anything that can be deemed racist, just because they don't happen to agree with your viewpoint. Personal attacks on another member will not be tolerated. However, if anyone should find that they have an issue with another member, then please contact a member of staff by pm. Do not carry on a flame-war on the board. Abuse of another member via the pm system will also result in the perpetrator being banned from the board. Also please, do not use real names of members in posts, .... call them by their board ID, even if you know their real name. If they allow it in their private messages that is another thing. But not on the board. Pictures, or links to other boards, in sigs aren't allowed. Some members of other boards go to ridiculous lengths with picture sizes and these are unnecessary. Member posted images should be no larger than 600 pixels in width, preferably less and keep your filesizes small, too, remember, some people use a dial-up connection and large images load very, very slowly. These rules can, and will, be updated as and when we feel the need, so please check back in here periodically. :) |
